BOZO
The name of Captain-Lieutenant Bozo is mentioned in the materials of the Russian Empire Foreign Policy Archives for 1825 in connection with the last will and bequest of his compatriot Greek merchant and benefactor I. A. Varvatzii (1750-1825) in favour of the Government of Greece. Ivan Varvatzi was in Russian service in 1678, and participated in the First Russo-Turkish War. He contributed immensely to the development work in Astrahan and Taganrog located on the coast of the Azov Sea.

BRADBY, Matthew Barton (1781-1831)
Officer in the Royal Navy; commanding officer of HMS Calypso, conveyed Lachlan Macquarie from Kronstadt to Yarmouth in September-October 1807.
Commissioned: Lieutenant 14 July 1796; Commander 29 April 1802; Captain 28 June 1810.
Married: Catherine Hodgkins DOUGLAS (1784-1874) on 25th Nov 1808 at Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. No children.
Died: 5 May 1831 at Portsmouth when his boat was struck by lightning:
"PORTSMOUTH, May 6 - A dreadful accident happened yesterday, in a squall of hail with thunder and lightning. As Sir Joseph Yorke, Captain Young and Captain Bradby were going from Hamble to visit the St Vincent (three decker), at Spithead, the little yacht in which they were was struck with lightning, and all on board (Sir Joseph Yorke, the two Captains, the master of the boat, and two boys) were killed. They were all picked up floating at Spithread this morning." Source: The Derby Mercury 7 May 1831 Issue 5157.
BUNIN, Ivan Petrovich.
Midshipman, Graduate of the Kronstadt Naval Cadet Corps (1788); participated in the Russo-Swedish War (1788-1790) on board the frigate Gektor, Warrant Officer (1790), Lieutenant (1793); served on board the vessel of war Gleb which participated in the cruise undertaken by the Russian Navy squadron commanded by Vice-Admiral P. I. Khanykov along the shores of England, and also in the North Sea together with the English squadron (1795-1796); he served on board the warship Mstislav and the frigate Narva of the Russian Navy squadron commanded by Vice-Admiral M. K. Makarov, which, together with the English Navy, blockaded the exit from the shores of Holland occupied by French forces (1798-1799); founder of the Kronstadt Assembly of Nobility (1802); Captain-Lieutenant (1807); retired in November 1808.
