Our bridging courses provide learning support, a useful refresher, and a solid foundation for your university studies in mathematics and science.

We are pleased to be offering a range of courses in physics and astronomy, chemistry, mathematics, and lab skills. These courses are a fantastic opportunity to get to know your fellow students and academics, brush up on your maths and science skills, and gain the foundational knowledge you'll need to progress through your first-year science studies at Macquarie. Chemistry bridging course

This course is for students who are studying science at university but did not study chemistry at HSC level, for those needing to gain confidence in chemistry, and for those who want a refresher course in chemistry.

Mathematics bridging course

This course is for students from diverse mathematical backgrounds who need to enrol in first year mathematics courses, or require a review of introductory mathematical concepts.

Mathematics bridging course for PHYS1210 and Clinical Audiology

This course will provide you with a solid foundation in maths you'll require for university studies in physics or clinical audiology.This course is suitable for students from various mathematical backgrounds intending to enrol in the PHYS1210 Physics for Life Sciences unit.

Mathematics bridging course: Extended

This course provides a solid review of introductory mathematical concepts, as well as an introduction to and review of algebra and function concepts. It’s recommended for students who have completed HSC Mathematics Standard – or have no mathematical experience – and intend to undertake mathematics units at first-year level.

This course is suitable for students intending to enrol in a university science or engineering degree but who didn't study physics in HSC level, for those needing to gain confidence in physics or for those wanting a refresher in physics.
