Dr Sourabh Khandelwal and Professor Michael Heimlich have been awarded a research grant from Cree Inc (located in California USA) for the development of advanced predictive GaN transistor models. This four-year grant totals approximately $300K cash and additional in-kind contributions from the company. This research project will push the boundaries of state-of-the-art GaN transistor models leading to advancements in GaN-based RF and power electronics.
