Engineering in a Day, 24 November 2023

High school students in Years 10 and 11 are invited to spend an immersion day with the School of Engineering at Macquarie University. The day will allow students to experience the innovative and creative ways that engineers solve real-world challenges.
Students will be exposed to the various types of Engineering Macquarie has to offer through interactive workshops and tours of our facilities under the guidance of our passionate Engineers who love their work.
They will also have the opportunity to meet like-minded fellow school students to share each others' passion for Engineering as well as hear from some of our senior lecturers, undergraduates and PhD researchers who will highlight the wide range of careers that allow students to pursue their interest and abilities in Engineering and the sciences.
Students must be accompanied by a teacher.
Morning tea is provided. Opportunity for competitions and prizes!

12:30pm | Lunch on main campus - at the new Central Courtyard. |
1:30pm | Faculty of Science and Engineering campus tour. |
2.30pm | Thank you from the faculty and event closes. |
