Cisco Certifications

Start your career in Networking!

Macquarie University has entered a partnership with Cisco. We are now a participating in the “Cisco Networking Academy”.

The CISCO Networking Academy is designed to prepare students for CISCO industry-standard certifications.

The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) is a well-respected and sought after industry qualification supported by the worlds' number one network equipment vendor. The Department of Computing has built new specialised labs to provide students with a hands-on learning experience.

Our units are delivered by Cisco-certified Instructors.

Academy

To prepare for CISCO industry certificates you can undertake the following units:

Semester 1, 2024:

Semester 2, 2024:

To enrol in these COMP units you simply need to achieve a pass mark in COMP2250.

After completing these COMP units, students may choose to attempt the Cisco CCNA certification exam (operated externally by a Cisco partnered testing centre). Students who achieve a mark of 70% or more in the COMP3265 final exam are eligible for a discount voucher for the Cisco CCNA certification exam.
