Sushil’s PhD research sort to improve methods for evaluating the quality of mass reared fruit flies used in sterile insect technique programs. He worked under laboratory and mass production conditions, ensuring that the techniques used for mass rearing and handling of fruit flies result in the highest possible performance in the field.
