Our clinical trials cover a wide range of therapeutic areas.
The Macquarie University Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) was founded in 2013 with one oncology clinical trial. We now have nearly 200 trials in progress.
The CTU coordinates and manages sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials for pharmaceuticals and devices to treat cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular conditions and other diseases.
Our clinical trials include phase I to IV trials of medications and devices in a wide range of therapeutic areas including:
- cardiology
- endocrinology
- gastroenterology
- haematology
- neurology
- oncology
- ophthalmology
- respiratory
- surgical.
