We offer the largest suite of APAC accredited postgraduate psychology degrees in New South Wales. These postgraduate courses are designed to build the skills and knowledge needed as a pathway to registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.

These pathways include:

  • Master of Professional Psychology: become a psychologist via the 5+1 pathway to registration, equipped to practice across a broad range of settings and contexts.
  • Master of Clinical Psychology: become a psychologist with expertise in science-based approaches to assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological issues.
  • Master of Clinical Neuropsychology: become a psychologist with expertise in brain-based conditions, providing assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
  • Master of Organisational Psychology: become a psychologist with expertise in enhancing workplace performance, productivity, and employee psychosocial health and wellbeing.

The School of Psychological Sciences offers three combined degrees:

  • Doctor of Philosophy/Master of Clinical Neuropsychology
  • Doctor of Philosophy/Master of Clinical Psychology
  • Doctor of Philosophy/Master of Organisational Psychology.

These combined masters/PhD degrees provide training in both doctoral level research and professional psychological practice.

There is no direct admission to the combined masters/PhD degree. Candidates first require admission to the relevant masters program.

After the completion of one semester in the masters program, candidates are invited to submit an expression of interest to the combined masters/PhD. If the requirements are met, the applicant will be invited to apply for both a scholarship and admission to the masters/PhD in their discipline.
