Roger is the Professor of Neurobiology and Neurochemistry in Macquarie Medical School and the Pro Vice-Chancellor Academic Health Strategy in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Medicine and Health.
With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Roger brings extensive expertise in integrating research and education, building upon his biomedical research programs and activities in research commercialisation.
In his institutional leadership roles, he has led major initiatives that blend education and research within Macquarie’s unique academic healthcare ecosystem. He is also known for his ability to cultivate cross-disciplinary collaborations and forge strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, driving innovation in academic health initiatives.
