Introduction to Generative Artificial Intelligence
This introductory course is designed to equip Australian teachers with an initial understanding of generative AI, its capabilities, and its potential applications within the classroom.
Generative Artificial Intelligence Literacies
This course equips educators with the skills to guide students in the proficient use of generative AI in educational settings. Participants will explore generative AI literacies, learning to understand, interact with, and critically evaluate generative AI technologies.
Help! I’m teaching History for the first time
This course is designed to empower new history teachers with the essential skills and strategies needed for effective instruction in the classroom.
Help! I’m teaching Legal Studies for the first time
This course offers a comprehensive overview of the Legal Studies syllabus for teachers new to the subject, equipping them with essential skills for effective teaching in this subject.

Teaching HSC students research ethics
This course supports secondary teachers in the teaching of ethical research practices and their application in student research projects involving human participants.
At present there are several Stage 6 NSW courses that feature such projects as a significant part of assessment:
- Geography
- Society and Culture
- Health and Movement Science (new syllabus to be implemented from 2025)
- Community and Family Studies
- the International Baccalaureate.
