An issue of increasing concern within the telecommunication sector is the extent to which telecommunications carriers and carriage service providers can be liable for harmful third-party content transmitted over the networks and facilities they own or operate.
An interdisciplinary research team of Professor Niloufer Selvadurai (Law), Professor Marc De Vos (Law) and Dr Muhammad Ikram (Computing) are investigating this issue to address present uncertainty in the area. This project is funded by the Optus Cyber Security Hub.
