MLS lecturer Dr Amira Aftab, and her work, was featured in the highly successful SBS documentary 'Is Australia Sexist?'.
Dr Aftab graduated with her PhD from MLS in 2018 supervised by Dr Kate Gleeson and Associate Professor Archana Parashar. She is currently a convenor and tutor in MLS. The documentary also features another MQ expert, Professor Catherine Lumby (MMCCS) and recognises Macquarie as a leading institution when it comes to addressing and researching key social issues.
