Supporting research enhanced by experience

Each year the Discipline of History and Archaeology, within Macquarie’s School of Humanities, offers a number of competitive scholarships and fellowships to support our higher degree and early career researchers researching across history and archaeology.

These enable our higher degree and early career research student community to travel and pursue research opportunities in various fields, while also enhancing the research profile and output of the school.

Eligible recipients include MRes, MPhil and PhD students, plus recent PhD graduates. Undergraduates and other students of history, archaeology and ancient languages may also, in some cases, be eligible.

Please note that some of these scholarships may have specific conditions.
