'The Why, What and How of Inclusive Practice Forum'
Our Inclusive Practice Forum is a great networking opportunity and a chance for you to share ideas and experiences with other staff and students from institutions all across Australia.
You will also get to hear about the latest research trends and gain insights from highly respected practitioners in this field.
The Forum will cover:
- Legal perspective and obligations
- Practical strategies for teaching and support staff wanting to implement inclusive practice
- A technical perspective with demonstrations of assistive technologies, developing accessible PDFs and understanding the WCAG 2.0 standards set by W3C
The Forum is proudly presented by Macquarie University Accessibility Services (MQAS) and the Web Accessibility Network for Australian Universities (WANAU).
The forum is free of charge but registration is essential.
