As awareness of environmental issues continues to grow, the moral decision of citizens and leaders will decide our fate. The moral relationship of human beings and the value and moral status of the environment is at the core of environmental issues. Therefore, faith traditions are well placed to raise awareness and provide solutions to the complex problems which have arisen. Faith traditions support the environment and in using their unique motivating power and cooperating in dialogue together, they may provide a sense of hope to this growing phenomenon.
All students and staff are invited to attend what promises to be an intriguing and insightful discussion, led by high profile, respected speakers presenting the perspectives of Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Atheism / Agnosticism. Students and staff will also have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A session. Interspersed between the discussions will be musical performances from various cultural and religious traditions.
