Free Guided Walks Program
The City of Ryde, through its Catchment Connections project has teamed up with Macquarie University to run a Free Guided Walks Program throughout the university campus.
Members of the community are invited to stroll around the campus to learn about the University's 'hidden secrets'.

The Macquarie University Science Partnership
The Science Partnership was launched in 2007 with the New South Wales Department of Education and Training. The partnership is a model of university and school collaboration designed to provide students with opportunities to engage and excel in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. It supports and implements innovative teaching and learning practices to over 8,000 students from K-12.

Macquarie-Ryde Futures Partnership
The Macquarie-Ryde Futures Partnership (MRFP) brings the University and City of Ryde Council together to support excellence in local government, community development and sustainability through research and student engagement.
The MRFP was established in December 2011 through a Memorandum of Understanding signed by the Vice-Chancellor and the Mayor.
