About Us
Community Relations is the intentional collaboration between higher education institutions and communities for the mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge and resources in a context of partnership.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the university's art gallery
- Promoting museums and collections
- Supporting public involvement in the activities and services of the university
- Building relationships with local government, the tenants of the Macquarie Park Corridor, schools, university staff and students and the wider community
Throughout the university, there are innumerable community activities taking place on a daily basis. These might include research collaboration, sponsorship of art and cultural events, campus tours and seminars, interaction with schools and use of university facilities.
