January is traditionally a quiet month at home in Australia, but it was a busy time for our global networks, with 6 events held across the world.

From Singapore and Seoul, to Athens and London and across the globe to New York and Toronto, alumni networks came together to kickstart a new year and a new decade. Events included:

• Alumni Networking Dinner in Athens - Thursday 30 January
• Alumni Network Drinks in Toronto - Friday 31 January
• Pop-Up Networking Drinks in London - Friday 31 January

“It was great to meet new alumni from Macquarie, including MGSM, at the recent networking event in New York City,” said New York resident and US network leader, Roger Woodend (MBA 2009). “The breadth of the Alumni network in New York, and North America, is very impressive and I look forward to keeping the momentum going with future events. These events are a great opportunity to meet new people and learn about some of the amazing things our alumni are doing globally. I’d encourage alumni to get involved. Our next event will be in mid-June 2020.”
