Clark was among the first graduating cohort of law students from Macquarie, and has been an Adjunct Professor at Macquarie Law School since 2010.
He is also a Partner at Clayton Utz, a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Law and President-elect of the Law Council of Australia which he will lead from 2016. He has previously been the Chairperson of the Large Law Firm Group Limited where he was involved in the establishment of the National Legal Profession Reform, and the Director of the Legal Aid Commission of NSW. In his addition to his many contributions to the Macquarie Law School and MULS, his community service includes serving as Deputy Captain for the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Communication Brigade of the NSW Rural Fire Service.
