Explore natural history treasures large and small

How easily do you fit inside a shark’s jaws? Who else is in T-Rex’s family tree? What’s so unique about a monotreme? Visit the Macquarie University Biology Discovery Centre to find out!

Our collection houses a range of specimens, mostly from Australia. Some of the items on display include skulls, skeletons, taxidermy mounts, corals, shells, antique microscopes and trays of colourful insects – as well as Minmi, the Centre’s resident ankylosaur.
