MultiSearch now includes an optional AI enabled tool called Research Assistant (BETA) that allows natural language queries and provides brief summaries based on academic resources.

You must be logged in to MultiSearch to use Research Assistant.

How Research Assistant works

Ask Research Assistant a natural language question and it will provide:

• An overview of its top five ranked academic resources to answer the question, including in text references.
• Citations for these top five sources with the option to view more results.
• Suggestions for related research questions.

This is currently a beta feature that is mainly useful for quick initial searches. The results will be drawn from a limited selection of academic resources available via MultiSearch, the Library’s discovery tool, and full text access may not be available for every resource.

Research Assistant also keeps a history of your last 200 searches.
