APA is widely used by academic staff and students and is one of the five referencing styles endorsed at Macquarie University. Academic Writer is the American Psychological Association’s (APA) digital platform built to support you through the research and scholarly writing process.
Macquarie staff and students have free access to Academic Writer via a University subscription.
Designed to help users across all disciplines learn and apply the guidelines of APA Style, this resource features self-paced learning tools with advanced writing, referencing, and content management technology.
This demonstration will give an overview of Academic Writer and walk you through the three main centres on the platform: Learning, Referencing and Writing.
The Library has also created an APA referencing guide.
