Our hands-on school experiences engage students with chemistry, biology, coding and much more!

All programs are aligned to the Australian curriculum and tailored for students in each stage of learning.

Our 75-minute STEM sessions can be run for preschools and early learning centres. Children can uncover the creatures of the past in our Day of the Dinosaur program, or blast off into the stars in our Space Cadets program.

  • Age: 3–4 years old
  • Length: 75 minutes
  • Location: Our excursions are all run at the Macquarie University Wallamattagal campus. Our incursions are brought straight into your classroom in the Sydney metropolitan area.
  • Capacity: Up to 15 children per session
  • Price: $15 per student (minimum of eight students per session). Prices may vary if multiple sessions are run on the same day.

From coding to chemistry, from circuits to special effects, our wide range of curriculum-aligned programs has something to suit each stage and student! Each of our primary incursions is a full-day experience packed with hands-on investigations.

Our excursions give your students the chance to learn using the facilities available at the Macquarie University campus, including our Bush Tucker Garden, Planetarium and Biology Discovery Centre. With curriculum-aligned excursions exploring Indigenous plant knowledge and uses, the solar system and more, these full-day experiences are exciting and engaging!

  • Length: Full day (flexible timing to accommodate your school timetable)
  • Location: Our excursions are all run at the Macquarie University Wallamattagal campus. Our incursions are brought straight into your classroom in the Sydney metropolitan area.
  • Capacity: Up to three classes per day with up to 30 children per class
  • Price: $30 per student (minimum of 25 students per class)

Our Sensory Science Show allows children to explore the excitement of chemical reactions with all the senses. This experience is perfect for students with diverse abilities and learning needs, and can be tailored to suit your group.

  • Age: Years K–2, support units or special education classes
  • Length: 90 minutes
  • Location: 13 Hadenfeld Ave, Macquarie University
  • Capacity: Up to 30 children per class
  • Price: $25 per student (minimum of 10 students per class). Prices may vary if multiple sessions are run on the same day.
