Vice-Chancellor launches the Macquarie University Hearing Strategy 2030

On Monday 18th March, Vice-Chancellor S. Bruce Downton launched the Macquarie University Hearing Strategy 2030 at the Australian Hearing Hub.

With key partners in attendance from across the University and the Australian Hearing Hub, the Director Audiology and H:EAR, Professor Catherine McMahon, and Director of Hearing Research, Professor David McAlpine spoke to the prevalence and impact of hearing loss, and the Hearing Strategy mission to transform hearing health through 5 key goals.

The Hearing Strategy 2030 aims to unite our existing strengths in hearing-related research, education, clinical diagnostics, and engagement across many of our disciplines, in the service of reaching our greater aspiration of creating positive and lasting change in this field.
