The committee evaluates and fosters the development and implementation of research-inspired, evidence-based, and student-focused education practices throughout the University.

The Academic Senate Education Committee (the Committee) is responsible for working with the Academic Senate, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), and the Executive Deans of Faculty to establish an academic culture of excellence for education at Macquarie University.
