Physical activity during the Sydney lockdown 2021
Physical activity during the Sydney lockdown 2021
Seeking to understand the impact of COVID-19 lockdown on Sydneysiders' physical activity patterns during 2021.
About the project
COVID-19 lockdown was a sudden and dramatic influence on people’s lifestyle behaviours.
This project aims to investigate the impact of the 2021 COVID-19 lockdown on Sydney residents’ physical activity using a citizen science approach. Citizen science actively engages members of the public in scientific research such as collecting data and sharing knowledge.
Understanding activity patterns during COVID-19 restrictions will help design better intervention to support active living among Sydneysiders.
