An undergraduate course is usually your first degree at university - so it's for those leaving secondary school (ie high school) or mature age students.
There are two groups of applicants for Macquarie programs:
- local applicants who are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens
- international applicants (citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand) can seek further information at the Future Students - International website.
If you are a local applicant for undergraduate study at Macquarie University, your admission is based on academic merit.
Bonus points are added to your ATAR (or other entry score) to improve your chances of entry.
Didn't get the ATAR required? Are you a non-current school leaver or mature age student? Check out your options.
