Getting in

An undergraduate course is usually your first degree at university - so it's for those leaving secondary school (ie high school) or mature age students.

There are two groups of applicants for Macquarie programs:

  • local applicants who are Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens
  • international applicants (citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand) can seek further information at the Future Students - International website.

If you are a local applicant for undergraduate study at Macquarie University, your admission is based on academic merit.
