How to apply as a domestic postgraduate student
There are two main ways you can apply to Macquarie University: directly to the University or through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC).
The course you wish to study will determine the application method. The information on this page is for domestic applicants interested in postgraduate coursework degrees.
You’re considered a domestic student if you have one of the following:
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship
- Australian permanent resident status
- a permanent Australian humanitarian visa.

General entry requirements for a postgraduate course may include:
- completion of a recognised bachelor degree
- proof of English proficiency
