Macquarie University International College (MUIC) is an exciting new opportunity for students around the world to study on the beautiful campus of Macquarie University, located in Sydney, Australia. Macquarie is one of Australia’s leading universities, located in one of the world’s most cosmopolitan and vibrant cities.

The College accommodates students who do not automatically qualify for entry into a full Macquarie University degree. Its focus is to help these students succeed academically, and develop their English language proficiency, if necessary, so they can gain a guaranteed place in a Macquarie University degree of their choice.

Applications are now open for MUIC’s Foundation and Diploma (Accounting, Commerce and Business) programs. The Foundation program, commencing in trimester 3, 2015, offers entry into the first year of a Macquarie University degree upon successful completion. The two-semester-long Diploma program, which commences in trimester 1 2016, offers entry into the second year of an Accounting, Commerce or Business degree once successfully completed.

Macquarie’s English Language Centre is also located within the College, to help those who need extra tuition in the comprehension and use of English.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) Professor Jim Lee says that, since July, many Macquarie staff have been deeply involved in planning every aspect of the College’s structure and operations.

MUIC students will have access to the full suite of student services, support and facilities enjoyed by other Macquarie University students.
